Aloo Palak (Naadan)

Ingredients :Spinach – 1 bunch, washed and chopped
Potato – 3 medium sized, cubed
Onions – 2 Medium sized, chopped
Turmeric Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
Chilly Powder – 1 Teaspoon
Oil – 2 Tablespoons
Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add in the onions and fry till golden brown.
  3. Add in the spices.
  4. Mix in the potatoes.
  5. Add enough water to cover the potatoes and bring to a boil.
  6. Cook on low flame till potatoes get cooked.
  7. Add in the spinach leaves.
  8. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  9. Add in more hot water if the consistency is too thick.
  10.  Remove from heat and serve with rice or chapatti.
